
Ecumenical Horizon Fund
The purpose of the Ecumenical Horizon fund shall be to support the ecumenical calling of 2 Corinthians 5:18 - "All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation." The fund enables the Illinois Conference of Churches to cultivate and support ecumenical initiatives for Christian unity and mission acording to ICC endowment policy guidelines.
- Cultivate unity of faith in Christ by ecumenical prayer, learning, and diaglogue.
- Nurture ecumenical community to develop mutual trust and understanding with appreciation for diverse Christian witness.
- Foster unity in mission in bearing witness to the gospel of reconciliation in Christ.
- Seek justice for all people who dwell in God's household of life.
